My professional journey has shown me how industries evolve when innovation meets human trust. From my early days at SAP to building the principal-to-principal model at Floreat, I have witnessed both the limits of traditional private banking and the opportunities that arise when we challenge convention.
I believe fintech and artificial intelligence will redefine private banking and transform how private clients are served. For too long, private banking has relied on rigid structures and one-size-fits-all solutions. AI allows us to move beyond that delivering advice that is faster, more precise, and truly personalised to each family's unique circumstances, goals, and values. It will enable advisers to anticipate client needs, manage risks dynamically, and curate global opportunities at a scale that was once impossible.
In merchant banking, AI will revolutionise how we source, structure, and execute transactions. Intelligent systems can scan and analyse vast networks to identify opportunities, run complex risk assessments in real time, and match capital with ventures far more efficiently. This will allow human bankers to focus on what cannot be automated: building trust, shaping partnerships, and driving long-term value creation.
The impact extends beyond finance. Luxury and lifestyle industries are also being reshaped by AI. From how brands understand and serve their clients, to how experiences are curated, and how investments in art, fashion, hospitality, and design are identified and scaled. AI will empower entrepreneurs and creative businesses to connect with their audiences more intimately, personalise offerings, and unlock entirely new forms of cultural and commercial value.
I see AI not as a replacement for experience or judgment, but a force multiplier. It represents the next stage of my journey merging human insight with intelligent systems to reimagine how families, entrepreneurs, and institutions create value across finance, art, luxury, and lifestyle.
My focus ahead will be on AI in these sectors. The last 24 months have already seen me putting this vision into practice, working intensely on several exciting ventures but this is only the beginning.
